I bought this from Speed Cube Store as just an “extra” when my main order was Tornado V3 Flagship – so I wasn’t expecting too much from a cube that only cost £8.95.
But I was hugely surprised, this cube is amazing and I’m still in two minds as to which I prefer: this or Tornado V3. It really is that good.
The feeling is very light and precise and it has wonderfully strong magnets so it snaps into place as you approach a corner position.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Both a perfect beginners cube but I think this would suit just about anyone. I’m so impressed I’m about to order the “ball core” version as this cube is very close to perfect but I think core magnets might be the thing to deliver total perfection! 😉
Bottom line : if you have £8.95 (or whatever it is as you read this) just buy this cube. I think I can guarantee that you’ll never have bought something this good in terms of value for money. It’s like a Tornado at double the price or a high end GAN at four times the price.
